Cold rolled steel sheets are high-performance steel products meticulously manufactured from hot rolled steel sheets through the cold rolling process. Compared to hot rolled steel plates, they play an irreplaceable role in high-end manufacturing due to their more precise dimensional control, superior surface quality, and more stable mechanical properties.
Hanli is one of the drafting units of China's National Standard GB/T 9941-2009 for high-speed steel plates, with leading industry capabilities in the production of precision thin sheets and tolerance control.

Production process
Cold rolled steel sheets are manufactured from hot rolled steel sheets through a series of precise cold rolling processes.
1.Surface Preparation:
The hot rolled coil undergoes rigorous surface cleaning to remove scale and impurities, ensuring optimal conditions for cold rolling.
2.Cold Rolling:
The steel coil is fed into a cold rolling mill at room temperature and undergoes multiple passes. By precisely controlling rolling force, speed, and other parameters, the sheet gradually achieves the desired thickness and dimensional accuracy. During this process, the steel's grain structure is further refined, resulting in a denser internal microstructure.
3.Annealing (if required):
After rolling, annealing may be performed to relieve internal stresses induced during cold rolling and improve the sheet's workability.
4.Finishing:
The final product undergoes precision leveling, cutting, and other finishing processes to produce high-speed cold rolled steel sheets with exact specifications.

Enhanced Mechanical Properties:
Through cold rolling and heat treatment, the strength, hardness, and wear resistance of high-speed cold rolled steel sheets are significantly improved. Their tensile strength can reach over 1800 MPa, hardness can stabilize at 62-65 HRC, and performance uniformity is excellent. Under high-load, high-wear conditions, they maintain stability and reliability, offering a service life more than 30% longer than that of hot rolled steel plates of the same material.
