Product Introduction

Hot rolled coil is a type of steel produced through a high-temperature rolling process, with the rolling temperature typically exceeding 1000 degrees Celsius. During this process, the steel billet can alter its properties, dimensions, and shape, thereby manufacturing steel products tailored to specific requirements.

Hot rolled coil has a characteristic black surface with an oily sheen. The edges of the hot rolled coil are treated to eliminate sharpness, giving it a neat appearance. The hot rolling process involves heating the steel at high temperatures and then passing it through rollers to achieve the desired shape and thickness.

We use premium base materials sourced from leading suppliers such as Erasteel, AnGang, HeYe, DongBei, and TSINGSHAN. Our product range includes common steel grades like M2, M4, M35, M42, ASP2030, ASP2060, D2, 440C, all with precise alloy composition control.

Main material and chemical composition

Delivery Condition

Hot-rolled coils are typically delivered in the hot-rolled state, meaning the steel is not subjected to additional heat treatment after the rolling process and is directly cooled before delivery to the customer. In this condition, the hot rolling (or forging) termination temperature generally ranges between 800–900°C, followed by natural air cooling. The resulting microstructure is similar to that achieved through normalizing treatment.

However, since the termination temperature may vary slightly, the consistency of the steel's microstructure and mechanical properties is somewhat less stable compared to strictly controlled normalizing processes.

1. All products provided satisfy the requirements of international GB/T9941-2009or GB/T1220-2007.
2. There are no defects on the surface of the material that affect its use, such as layering, rust, inclusions, scabs, cracks, etc.
3. Providing heat treatment processing, ultradeep cooling processing.
4. Please consult our company about non-standard products that can be customized with drawings.
